Moving Forward

While youth have garnered support around the world for climate change policy, and social media has been the mechanism for this to occur at the rates it has, policy makers will need to actively listen and include youth voices in their climate policy discussions.

More research also needs to be done to better understand how youth utilize social media platforms for climate change activism rather than isolating each of these topic areas on its own.
